I swear this child is sneaking no-doze or drinking coffee when I'm not looking. lol. I've received mixed reviews about Savior, mostly in email. There are two issues. The first was Snape and Hermione didn't get together. The second was, Snape stole Hermione's child. As to the first, eh . . . :::shrugs::: I wanted something different this time. As to the second issue . . . this isn't a nice Snape. And he didn't steal her daughter, he stole their daughter, in egg form. Weird eh? lol. I had to do it simply because everyone thought he wanted her virgin blood. I'm perverse that way. More than likely he created some kind of suspension to keep it alive and undamaged, then found a suitable woman to implant it in and using some potion to make it "take." Probably for those five years he was making preparations to care for his child. This story could be so much more, I know, but with all the stories I have going, I just wanted something short and different to work on during my "down" time. Not every story is going to be a happy ending, or even morally correct. That's just reflecting life in fantasy. Who knows. Maybe I'll revisit it like I did Turn one day. Imagine Hermione and Eileen finding out the truth. lol. Snape would be in some deep doo for sure, though I'm sure he'd wriggle his way out of it somehow. That's all I have to say.

I haven't read it but now I want to. I did something similar--wrote a short (six short chapters) fic over on OWL called The Dissolution Law. Most people liked it but the ones who didn't, hated the ending. And that's fine with me. I wrote the story I wanted to write and got to have some fun watching the reviews pop up chapter by chapter.

So you go girl and write your own story.

And I'll go find it and read it.

I can never get into OWL
I've tried, used different browsers, wrote them and everything. I've given up. Sigh. It's a shame too because I miss out. :(

Re: I can never get into OWL
Okay, hopefully help is on the way. Annie Talbot has been doing a grand job of getting people up and going on OWL and I forwarded your info to her!

Re: I can never get into OWL
I had problems for a long time getting into OWL. Out of nowhere it started working.

wouldn't she wonder why her middle name is Hermione?

Who, Eileen?
I doubt it, since she doesn't know who Hermione is. She probably knows what it means, Messenger, the female version of Hermes. Hermione wouldn't wonder because she had no idea Snape had a daughter. Of course, if it comes up . . . Eileen would think it was coincidence most likely . . . but if Hermione found out . . . good gravy! She'd want to know why Snape chose her name.

Re: Who, Eileen?
hmm.... perhaps Harry, Ron, and Hermione might be mentioned in 'History of Magic' class during the chapters on the Voldy Wars. plus she is trying to beat Hermione's school records - She currently had the highest marks at Hogwarts, running neck in neck with Hermione's grades when she attended - so someone is bound to mention that Hermione is the one whose grades she needs to beat. I'm not arguing, I'm just thinking of how this story might continue IF you continue it. seems like everything would depend on Eileen's reaction; Snapey would do anything to keep on his daughter's good side. just me thinking aloud....

Re: Who, Eileen?
Oh girl, I didn't think you were arguing, I just thought you brought up a good point. More than likely all the names of the heroes became popular names for children, so maybe Eileen wouldn't think it odd. She's named after her grandmother after all, so the name of a heroine probably doesn't strike her as strange at all, though she might not like her middle name. lol. I'm just thinking too. :)

Re: Who, Eileen?
but why would Severus name his daughter after Hermione - does that show he had some feelings/affection for her? I mean, he must be smart enough to cover his tracks, and naming his daughter after Hermione is verrry revealing. he didn't even send his daughter to another school separate from Hermione's kids. (kicks plot bunnies.... stop that!)

Re: Who, Eileen?
Who knows why, really? Well, actually, I do . . . it was a blatant clue to let readers know she was Hermione's daughter. lol. However, I could pass it off as Snape wanting his daughter to have some tangible connection to her mother, if in name only as a kind of acknowledgement of sorts, even though Hermione didn't raise her. Of course he would send her to Hogwarts. It's the best school. He wasn't trying to hide her. Remember, Eileen was born five years after he and Hermione engaged. No one, not even Hermione would think there was any connection. She would probably be flattered rather than suspicious if she found out.
